The rules that matter to a contractor

What the building means for a paint job

Two towers of different heights under one corporation, which is unusual, and it means two elevators to book against depending on which tower you are in.

Built in 2007, so drywall ceilings rather than exposed concrete, 9ft throughout, and conventional windows with real wall below the sill. That last detail catches owners out: there is more paintable surface here than in a same-sized suite in the glass towers up toward Eglinton, where a chunk of the perimeter is window.

Eighteen years in, plenty of suites still carry original builder paint, which marks easily and does not survive being wiped.
